Germany tour - June 2011

This was a short visit with a purpose - John wanted to attend the radio amateur exhibition in Friedrichshafen. It gave us the excuse to spend a few days travelling through Germany on the way there and back - the car being needed to bring some bits back from the event! We had no problems finding places to stay en route and enjoyed the food and wine very much indeed.

Deggenhausertal - Roggenbeuren, a lovely little village with a fantastic name.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which we visited on the way back. We were lucky enough to catch a big local parade.

We didn't take many photos - it was mostly a video record - but will definitely be back in Germany before too long.
