Memorials

Visits were made to the Twatt and Weisdale (Sound) kirkyards to look for relevant grave stones. All those with possible family connections were noted, and those directly relevant are given below. These are both at Sound.

1.

   born at Evrabister, Weisdale
   29th June, 1829
   died at Tumblin, Aithsting
   26th Feb, 1904
   and of his wife Barbara Morrison
   born at Skeorn, 1st Oct 1836
   died at Tumblin, 11th Nov 1927"

   of Robina Morrison
   Robert Morrison
   who died 29th April, 1894,
   aged 87 years
   also his wife Janet Law
   who died 23rd Feb 1891
   aged 83 years
   also their son, David
   who died 1st Aug 1855
   aged 13 years
   
   Asleep in Jesus"
