Germany - June and July 2013
Another trip to enable John to get to the Friedrichshafen
amateur radio gathering. These trips make a great holiday, travelling
through lovely Germany and enjoying the little country hotels with
their great food and drink. This time we also met up with old friends
of Marwyn's, travelling down through the south of Germany, then back
via the old east.

|The old town gate in Emmendingen.||Travelling towards Friedrichshafen we found a nice little
hotel high in the woods in Glashütte.
|The Danube, not far from Tuttlingen.
||Ham Radio Friedrichshafen - I was there!
|Yachts on the Bodensee at Lindau.||Lighthouse at the endtrance to the harbour at Lindau.
|Rapunzel is in there somewhere.||The Pfänderbahn, above Bregenz, in Austria at the east end of

||Wangen - another lovely south German town.|
|We drank some very nice German wines. Very nice indeed! This
was near Bayreuth.
||Another lovely little hotel, in Dümmerlohausen. Back in the
north so excellent beer here!
|We like Noordwijk aan Zee as a last stop before the ferry. It
was a bit chilly for swimming though!
||Nice and sunny the following morning at Zandvoort, but still
a bit chilly.
Another great holiday in Germany. I think we saw one other British
car whilst there. Let's keep this a secret - maybe I shouldn't say what
a great place it is on the web!
